Not working on Samsung 24 with Edge mobile browser. App won't let me sign in because the coop API for the app is not encrypted. Edge protection blocks it opening. Edit: I've updated from 1 to 3, as the app appears to be working now. I'm still a bit concerned that the browser (edge), which I said I was using, reported an unencrypted connection with the app API. Yes I use a vpn, for app cookie protection. I presume this app doesn't use ad cookie collection without informing and consent.

Thank you for following up. Unfortunately, the Co-op App is only available in the UK and Ireland, which means you won’t be able to sign in while using a VPN set to another country. This is because the authentication process checks that your location is within the UK or Ireland. We hope this helps! Many thanks, Emma, The Co-op App Team

an ok app, especially for the weekly offers that you can choose. One thing that is really annoying though is constantly having to sign in - literally every week I have to sign in and it drives me mad - no other app is like this on my mobile In response to the reply I've received, I do log in weekly, sometimes a couple of times a week

I've got all the supermarket apps and this is easily the worst. All other apps generate the QR code instantaneously, however, it's always a struggle with this app. I often have to come out of the app and try again. It lengthens the time I have to spend at checkout so not much use. Additional note: even their advice to help is nonsensical. Their advice is to expand the screen. How precisely will expanding the screen or brightness help when there's nothing on the screen?
