This app used to be amazing for downloading videos, with unobtrusive adverts, although I distinctly remember buying a lifetime ad free package for about a fiver to help out the devs and make my experience a little bit easier. After an update the app has BOMBARDED me with ads from all sides, and now offers a subscription to get rid of them, with the lifetime ad free being almost £30. I definitely remember buying it before and wouldn't have paid anywhere near that much money for it. Absolute sham

Bizarrely this has ended up being one of my most used and most loved apps. Simple and effective Does what it says on the tin super easy to use and ads aren't a bother at all. You don't get bombarded with them and you can skip after a few seconds anyway so they're really not as obtrusive as they are in most free to use apps. Highly reccomend if you download a lot of videos/gifs

The app usually works perfectly, although the number of steps and clicks required to download a video is slightly suboptimal (4 steps or so... Not exactly seamless). There was a weird one-off glitch whereby the app just gave the error of "no video there" or something like that. Oddly, other downloaders indicated the exact same error. I don't know what it was, maybe something on Twitter's side. In any case, I emailed the folks over at Tw Down support and never got a reply.
