Nuh uh, I used to play chess as a kid but I kinda wanted to like remember a couple tactics or sum. I usually use a different app but there's only one lesson a day unless you pay, so I decided to try out this app. Basically the "hard ones" are far too easy, make them for all people yk, like other apps. And sometimes the "5 moves till checkmate" puzzles come up and I can get the checkmate in 3 moves yet they say it's wrong, cus it's not programmed. Whoever made this is clearly an amateur at chess.

A convenient way to keep your chess brain ticking over. The puzzles are interesting and vary in difficulty, it's great at getting you to look at the board in a different way. One criticism I would have (and the only reason it's not 5 stars) is that sometimes the solutions are very counterintuitive. It would be good if a short explanation could be included with the solution so users could better understand the thinking.

The puzzles are occasionally incorrect. E.g. it will say "mate in 3" when you can get checkmate in 2 moves... and even mate in 4, and you only need one move to complete the puzzle.... which defeats the object as you don't get to see the next three moves you would make. Also, the 'best move' is sometimes not the best move at all- run some of the scenarios through a best move programme elsewhere, and you will see there are better moves than what the app is telling you.
