About this app

BimmerCode allows you to code the control units in your BMW or MINI to unlock hidden features and customize your car to your liking.

Activate the digital speed display in the instrument cluster or allow your passengers to watch videos while driving in the iDrive system. Do you want to disable the Auto Start/Stop function or the Active Sound Design? You will be able to code this and much more by yourself with the BimmerCode app.

The app is quite useful IF your car fully compatible. Before purchasing please contact the developers and ask for full set of available options for you car model (compatibility list is not enough). There is no refund if you use it after purchase and the only way to check if you've got all wanted option is to use it. Check-mate ;)

Excellent app, probably the best for BMW coding. Loads of options and very safe to use (the chance of corrupting a module is zero in normal mode). A bit expensive, but that's a requirement for quality and there's no monthly subscription fee. Nonetheless it would be nice to see some missing modules added, such as FLE, as features like low beam welcome lights activation cannot be coded in FEM for LCI models.

Easy to use. No issues. Just altered seat heating temperature and startstop behaviour on both my BMW X1 and a Mini. All very intuitive, fast easy to do, and without any issues. Used an Android phone (Samsung S21 Ultra) with a E-Net cable connected through a USB-C Ethernet adapter. Wired is more reliable than a Bluetooth dongle. If something interferes with the Bluetooth connection part way through coding you can screw up your ECU software, then it's a £500 trip to the dealer.
