Good game. Just like; StS, dawncaster, Rogue Adventure, in that there are unique classes, and intricate level board with pretty cool original features (planning a path! So cool). 3 Stars cause finishing a run doesn't feel rewarding. There's no class upgrades, or perks to carry forward. You just rinse and repeat. It would be nice to implement some kind of progression through class upgrades/buffs, or even earning fixed relics of some sort. It just feels kind of stale. But it's super fun!

A game so good I bought it twice. It's a card building roguelike with its own identity. Easier than spire at a baseline and feels more like a sealed deck run instead. That's in part due to the design differences. There are 4 characters, each with 3 variations on starting deck that push you in different directions. Then the game is balanced around drawing to a fixed hand size, while maintaining energy. This lets you choose when to hold cards freely, or turn cards into energy to bank for later.

A very good alternative to Slay the Spire. Some key differences with StS : -Your deck is limited to 20 cards, and you can change cards in your deck whenever you want. You have way more control on deck composition and can pivot to an other build during a run. -You can see all battle rewards from the map screen, so you can prepare your deck in advance and aim for the cards you want. I'd recommend giving this a try to roguelike deckbuilder enjoyers, but it may be a bit too complex for newcomers.
