Three things make this app the best I have used. 1. You can set it up so that when you insert the headphone jack it starts playing & stops when pulled out. 2. You can set up albums so they use the Album folder artist only so tracks aren't spread all over the place depending on who is "featured". 3. Long press on an album or track & you add it to the current playlist or start a new one. So easy. Apple can't do this on stock player! Paying for something like this is a perfect bargain!

Pros. Great sound. Fantastic select by artist list. Cover photos shown for each artist from stock photos on the Internet. I have a few compilations so it's a surprise to see the odd artist that I didn't realise that I had in my collection. Cons. When you create a favourate play list for example Starwars theme albums, there isn't a picture icon of the album covers on each track that's in the list so you can't see which album it is. Major inconvenience. Hope this can be fixed. Overall, great app.

UPDATE May 5th 2022 In response to to the reply given to me by PlayerPro - I HAVE checked the FAQ, but before that I had already Googled the problem and found the information there. So there IS no nomedia file in my music folder (I enabled hidden files). My music folder IS in the root directory of my SD card, and I had already cleared the cache and rebooted the phone. The problem still exists. -------------------- Have been using this for years, now suddenly putting the SD card into a new phone means half the songs are missing. Some albums have one or two songs in them instead of about 20 and some albums are completely missing. Poweramp can read the card in the same phone just fine (but I don't like the layout which is why I use PlayerPro. Tried triggering a 'refresh' of the library which did absolutely nothing. Uninstalled and reinstalled, still nothing. I paid for this app and it has become totally useless in that it can't refresh the library to see all the songs. Also, the start screen (set to library) always goes straight to the Albums page, and at one point the start screen for some reason went to a page full of radio stations!! Am using Android 10, but if Poweramp can read and see all the files, then it's not a problem with the SD card. With half my music missing, the app is useless now.

There is a FAQ that explains how to make sure your music is properly set and recognized on your phone. Can you please read it? I'm sure it will resolve your issue. Best Regards, Tristan
