It's okay. Good range of languages and most of the lessons are pretty good, although I think personally I'd benefit from a bit more repetition and a slightly slower pace. The downsides are the lack of any writing questions, the transcriptions of the conversations are sometimes wrong, and the voice recognition is terrible - when it's only a single word the app rarely picks anything up, and for phrases it's interpretation is very inconsistent. Overall not quite worth the money.

tldr; great if you just want to speak a language, but not so much if you want to actually learn it. this app is great if you have a history with the language, say Spanish. it's fine if you already know how it works and need a refresher. but if you're learning Russian or Arabic, having the alphabet would help and an explanation of why words/sentence are the way they are. i.e Russian and Arabic have gendered nouns/words. this app doesn't tell you that.

The app is fine for the most part but I want to learn the speaking aspect and it's not very good. I have given the app access to my mic but it continuously doesn't activate the mic during the speaking. This wouldn't be a problem but when it doesn't pick you up or understand you, it goes into a dialogue that can't be skipped so you have to wait a good moment before trying again. It's frustrating
