Okta Verify is a lightweight app that allows you to securely access your apps via 2-step verification, ensuring that you, and only you, can access your app accounts.
While you access your apps, you'll choose a 2-step verification method provided by Okta Verify to finish signing in. You can verify your identity using a push notification sent to your device (if enabled by your organization), a temporary 6-digit code, or biometrics (if enabled by your organization).
We do request permission to use your device camera so that you can scan a QR code when you enroll your device with Okta.

This was a great app which I would have given 5 stars. However, I now have the following 2 problems: 1) When a push notification appears, pushing ok, no longer goes through unless I open the app. This has been an issue for the last 5 or so months. 2) just in the last week, it now displays failed to send and even a retry still fails. I now have to manually enter the code. Please get these issues fixed.

App shuts itself off all day. I have disabled literally all battery saving features and "pause background apps" stuff and anything that can cause this, and even though I use the app about every hour, like twice a day I need to actually start the app again by fully opening it, otherwise the notification will never come. None of my other authenticator apps ever do this.

The app worked fine until the latest update. Now it refuses to scan a QR code as it states there is no permission to use the camera. The settings are enabled for camera use. I used the camera many times to set up new logins so something in the latest update has broken this. I sent an email to the support but an unhelpful response just pointed me to my local help desk which would be pointless as they have no control over the app. Needs fixing urgently.
