It should be called Mindtrap. It doesn't tell you that it needs a premium service it doesn't tell you that you have a significant limit on the number of free cards you can add and it doesn't let you search on the cards unless you pay for the premium service. It needs to find a better way of monetizing or at least say up front that you only have a few cards you can create and then you are trapped into paying. I took over 2 hours to save a lot of important information into it. I lost my time.

Hello Rey! Yes, mymind is a paid app since we're bootstrapped and there's a small independent team behind it. We make this clear in our emails that you receive right after signing up. We appreciate your feedback and will make sure to ship an update to make this even more clean inside the app.

My mind vs. Obsidian was the question. Close to a year of using Obsidian did find that too much admin and too many distractions. I have found my mind ten times better at finding information and automatically tags and describes the content. So even if you drop a photo, or an image or a PDF file or whatever then that is it. You are done, and it will be easy to find the content. The main interface is perfect for locating information. I am very impressed with my mind.

I was enjoying this, but the 100 card limit (unless you pay) has killed that. Maybe 1000 to start, but 100 is pathetically low, especially when Pinterest is free! I was hoping this could replace Pinterest, and might've considered paying, but the limited introduction has ended that notion. It's also not the best interface. Concept is great. The notes notification takes up too much space, and slides up too easily. Would a N or a + type icon not do, to the side. Finally Ai tagging fails too much.

Thanks for your feedback, we will discuss it with the team and I hope we can see you back in the future again.

What’s new

NEW — Secure your mind with biometrics. Activate in settings to keep your mind for your eyes only.
IMPROVED — Keyboard interactions on the card detail page are now smoother.
IMPROVED — Animations across the app are now smoother and more delightful, plus we've squashed more bugs.

As a small team, it would mean a lot if you can leave a review for us.

Until next time,
