I like this app, I am using it just to learn the stroke orders and get used to the characters, at this point. Only point of friction for my use case is that there is a approx. 2 second pause after you do every character, where they play a congratulation message. It would be very useful to have an option to shorten that wasted time period, or turn it off.

Can't recommend as the app consistently saves some characters for later rounds of the game. I just played the same character set four times and was forced to write some characters half a dozen times while others appeared only once in later rounds when I had only 3 seconds to learn how to write them. Other than that, I do think it's an engaging way to learn.

This is quite a nice app to play around with if you're already learning to write Chinese characters and can even be played by someone who isn't learning Chinese. But I'm not sure how useful it is as a learning aid. I don't if you have to manually select each pack to work through all characters you started to learn or it will play through them all and always show weak hanzi no matter which pack selected. At what point does the app consider you to have learned a character.
