About this app

SharePoint infuses AI into the mobile app experience to keep you focused and productive while on the go. AI builds an understanding of what you work on, how you work, and how your colleagues' work relates to you. When you need expertise, content, or resources when you're on the go, SharePoint is a great place to start looking.

• Browse your sites, files, people and more to get back to what you were working on
• Use search to find and discover important content
• Access your personalized view of team sites, communication sites, and news posts
• Tap on a user to get to their contact card and see who they work with and what they are working on
• Create news posts on the go and share your updates, reports, status, and experiences with your team
• Sign in to your SharePoint sites, whether they're in the cloud or on-premises. The app works with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server versions 2013 and higher
• Add multiple accounts, and easily switch between them

Note: To sign in to SharePoint, your organization needs to have an Office 365 subscription that includes SharePoint Online or an on-premises SharePoint Server.

The main purpose of SharePoint is to limit emailing around files and facilitate collaboration. Yet when viewing a file or list of files on the app, you cannot get a link to share it with others. You have to open it outside the app. There is a "Share" button but it behaves very strangely, sending you to other apps with strange interpretations of sharing (e.g. edge opens it in your own browser, teams posts a news item about it), there is no way to easily copy/paste a link.

Interface is good, similar to desktop. Outrageous that you can't upload files from your phone to SharePoint though. You have to go the SharePoint home, select site contents and then get rerouted to the web version. Basically completely defeats the point of having the app on your phone if you can't work on your phone and then upload your documents

Simple, it's not working as it should, as in connecting to other parts of the MS O365 Suite. Try attaching a file from a SharePoint document store in an Outlook email, good luck! Search the web on how to do it and all not working, many complaints. This does not tie in to the whole move from OneDrive to SharePoint, OneDrive was already crippled in In-House sharing of files which was at the time good replacing a file server. A simple allow a file to be sent by email without having to download it to a mobile device then attach it first is ridiculous.
