Falling short of greatness! The catalogue itself is great. It's big. The organisation is excellent. It understands composers, works, recordings etc which is absolutely game-changing. But, beyond that the app is a huge let-down in how basic it is. Missing some core features, like queuing up recordings to listen to. Compared to other music apps, it's very unstable - often crashing, and disconnecting from chromecast. Lack of internet causes glitches, even when playing downloaded tracks.

I joined recently after being dropped by Primephonic. I am actually enjoying this service more; both on the web as well as mobile. One issue I discovered is that when I switch off my headphones, the app will play on speakers instead of pausing. It's been an awkward day in the office. I also miss the album/soloist/ensemble descriptions that were available in Primephonic. Those were really interesting to read while discovering music. I also preferred the discovery mode from Primephonic (4 dimensional selection) vs the mood wheel in Idagio. I still enjoy using the wheel though! I feel the service is better quality than Primephonic, while the focus on artists is slightly lower. The access to live concerts is very nice though!

Loved the idea of IDAGIO when I first discovered it. Such a shame they have completely ruined it with an app that simply doesn't work. Downloading several albums at once is next to impossible and the app keeps randomly deleting stuff you already had on your device. Some tracks only get downloaded partially. Their customer support says I should download CDs one by one but this is ridiculous, I simply don't have that much time for that!
