Updating previous review to make it clear it's about the app (Argos as a store is actually quite ok, good items, prices, offers and payment plans that aren't really matched by anything else). However, the app and the entire online experience are bad. Linking Nectar card to collect points is made to be so difficult that it seems intentional (although I never had any benefits of using the Nectar card anyway). Writing reviews on items is also impossible...

Absolutely abysmal. 90% of the time, whatever you try to buy - no matter what it is or what option you choose, be it delivery or pick up, as soon as you try to checkout, you get a "sorry, there's been an error, please try again later." This has been consistent over at least 16 months as I've had the app since Christmas 2020, there's been multiple updates, yet the same issue persists. I'll no longer shop with Argos again after today and I'm cancelling my card with them. So unreliable.

Constantly tells you everything, and I mean everything, is out of stock all the time - when it's not! A quick look on the desktop site and they have it in stock! I am pretty much house bound a lot of the time, especially nowadays, and rely on Internet shopping to get what I need delivered. Its only after looking online and reading other people have the exact same experience that I realised it was the app! Surely they can do better?
