A pretty good app for zero dollars. The transcript feature is fantastic as an idea, but it needs some control to increase the gain (input sound level), as does the so overall. It also needs basic tone control, playback level, and pizza delivered to your door at 3am. Ok, the last is optional. Altogether, an app that I will probably keep using, though URecorder looks a bit more capable.

It doesn't show the recordings by date or contain any information about the specific date or time when it was recorded. This is a bizarre and huge oversight. All it has is a weird vague title like "Monday - food". Being able to see the date of recording is one of the most basic aspects, I can't understand why this app lacks it. Every other Google product (photos, email, etc) has date information, why not this?

I don't get why it's so difficult to do basic stuff with software now. I record multiple things and want to play them in sequence. The recorder app can't do it, and makes it seemingly impossible to find the actual audio files so they can be played via a different app. Seems like the best option I have is to share them to drive them download them to the device, which just seems dumb.
