Web GUI is way better than this app. It's useful for small changes, but for more intensive configuration, log into admin via desktop. AiMesh pairing takes numerous tries before it works. The app hangs and disconnects from the router so many times. It doesn't have all the features to administer devices. The 'futuristic' design actually makes it hard to discern certain options, especially on the splash screen. Overall, it's not great. I've had way more satisfaction using the web interface.

Good when it works. Kinda stopped. Now it won't accept my log in information and then the question is... do you factory reset and go through dozens of devices to add them to new networks... app used to work well and for a few days/weeks now... won't let me log into the router. Unsure what the cause is. Everything still works but I cannot check firmware or optimize connections etc.

Most stupid app I've seen. Configured the router through its webpage. And when trying to connect the app it is saying no router found. I'm connected wireless to the f router. Scanned the QR code on the router too. Nothing. What more do you need from me? Returning the router and going back to TP-Link. Please hire some good developers Asus. How hard is this to pair? There are users online complaining for years about this app. OMG! Cant believe I have to moan here about this. Crazy.
