Bank of the thieves. Started out as a great bank account with great customer service and an easy to use app has turned into the worst bank I could imagine. Time after time they changed terms & conditions without properly informing you and started to charge you for the most basic of things. I used to recommend this bank to friends, now I'm telling everyone to leave. I have and what a great decision, no more hidden charges! (except the one to close the account!)

Update 17 is an absolute joke, no fixes to any major issues, more expensive, more dumb social features..! Bye bye Bunq! Fix your UX and I might return. Everything useful is hidden behind some kind of sub-menu that you have to memorize for each page as it changes depending on where you are in the app. What an absolute shambles. For an online bank your app needs to be top notch and very easy to use, this is the opposite.

I am trying to understand why I should pay 8 euro per month to have a bank account. I'm a monzo user and I think it's a good bank and it allows you to have a bank account without paying any subscription fee and you can still have saving pots. If there reason is because you allow people to have joining account, multiple cards and multiple account then make an option for people they want to use all those features and another basic plan for a people that only need a normal current bank account.
