This has become my preferred navigation app to Google Maps. Lane arrow indicators are spot on, unlike Google Maps which just shows all the arrows lit and is confusing. Road layouts are clearer. I like how I can make reports without having to set a route. My only gripes are, not enough time given to respond to reports still there/not there (they are gone before I even get there), can't report things I see on the opposite side of the road, can't report a road closure using Android Auto

This app is a big disappointment..! Although it has some very attractive features, it has begun to not issue verbal navigation instructions. There seems to be no way to correct this in spite of following the documented instructions. What is most puzzling is that sometimes Waze 'Speaks' and at others it doesn't..! This is typically after an uninstall, followed by a reinstall.

I last reviewed Waze with 4 stars in early 2017 but since then it's got buggy (5.1.0.1). No voice examples in settings, flip-flopping between voices during guidance, night mode in the daytime on Android Auto, occasionally odd routings are just some examples that I'm experiencing. Feet instead of metres/yards, lots of missing report options on AA - even road closure so that Waze could reroute accordingly. It's still my go-to navigation app but it's just sad that they're letting the quality go.
