The recent change (in the UK at least) where you're now forced to select a location on the map geographically rather than (as before) letting the driver decide on common sense where to pick you up at a specified location is a massively retrospective step in my experience. Twice already now, in just a short time, both myself and the driver haven't been clear on where I'm being picked up, leading to tension and wasted time for both parties (and lower income for Uber ultimately!). Please rescind.

Works well most of the time, but the app has some very preditory price gauging tactics. I recently found that my regular 8 minute route had suddenly gone up from £3.50 to £33, which is an absolutely insane price difference that can't just be explained by rider supply/demand. When checking the same route on another device, it was £3.50 again. They clearly raise prices on routes people take regularly to try and shake you for every penny they can

This app is absolutely the worst. Everytime I use it, nothing goes well. Either the taxi teleports everywhere, it randomly cancels, the taxi won't even be in the same town as me, the timer increases out of nowhere and at one point, one of the drivers literally stopped and went shopping while I'm out here waiting. I'd rather take a bus or any other type of transport instead because saying Uber is terrible is being generous. Don't use this app unless you enjoy having problems every day.
