This VPN is "too" secure. Unlike most VPNs, where you can add trusted networks to automatically switch off the VPN, there's no such thing here. Instead, you have to either manually turn it off or use a split tunnel so apps can "get through" to the Internet. This split tunnelling, unfortunately, means that even if you're on an unsecured network, these apps are still "open to all" which warrants the VPN useless. I would suggest something more in the way of Windscribe.

I like the whole Bitdefender package. Have used it now for 3 or 4 years. The only issue I have with the VPN is that there are quite a few sites that will not allow me to connect while running it. That's their security I suppose and not much to be done about it.

Terrible. I paid premium for a year based on pc mag recommendation. It slowed everything down, causing massive connection issues. I'm a computer science graduate, so don't think it was 'user errors. I rang and asked for a refund today. I was told to keep an eye on my emails for confirmation. I will be emailing my request as well. Keep your validation code, you need it for refunds.
