Really good right up until the point (pretty quickly reached) that you have to upgrade to premium to be and do anything at all. It's a shame as I have used Yousician a few years ago and it wasn't the case then. It feels a little deceitful that they are not upfront about the necessity of upgrading to premium. I wouldn't have bothered with it all then.... Don't waste your time, and find one of the better piano apps....

Good app generally, but I'm very disappointed that the one reason I downloaded it - to learn songs I actually like - is completely barricaded by a paywall. I would have thought *something* in the library of so many songs to choose would be free, but there's nothing. I completely understand having a subscription to get extra things, but the main selling point of the app is that it teaches you to play the songs you want in the app, which is a pathetic promise given that you *need* a subscription.

I really didn't like this, there's no continuity, after every lesson which takes about a minute, you have to take your fingers off the keyboard to tap on next exercise, and then tap to play. It says that each finger is colour coded but when the lessons come up they are all purple. It's always trying to calibrate and failing, doing a nasty squealing sound. Did the free trial but uninstalled after an hour.
