I paid for Pro and used it for several years but no more. There's a lot about it I like, but it does have the odd blip and issue. I've contacted their CS team a few times, they're always friendly & reply quickly. However I was told today's group messaging query (and the previous one I contacted them about) was because my 'carrier / service provider sends and receives all messages' which it does, but made no sense re: what I asked, so I've gone back to Google messages.

Lots of great features! This app has almost every feature you could think of. The only one is like to see is "pin to top". UPDATE: So they added "pin to top". 🙂 I temporarily had to look for a new SMS app, but I wanted to come back to Textra. Fortunately it all worked out and I did! I can now tell you with authority that Textra is the ONLY texting app that allows you to set a preference for "Mobile numbers only". Why would I ever want any other kind of number for texting? Textra is GREAT!!!

I have always been a huge supporter and promoter of this app, because historically it always did what I needed to do, exactly the way I needed it. Amazing features, delayed send, many other things to mention. Sadly over the last 6 months, updates have rendered it so buggy It effectively cannot be used anymore. Even simply choosing pictures is a nightmare, and 90% of the time they just send as blanks. There's delays, missed notifications, missed incoming texts. New Bug fixes increase stars to 4
