The performance is incredibly inconsistent. It worked fine for several years, but for the last year "Alexa's" response to voice commands is awful. My main use is to listen to audiobooks and this function is now terrible now too. I have 2 different Dots and 2 different Shows, they all experience different functionality issues, despite my software being kept up to date. I think it's time to move to an alternative service, as these bugs should have been rectified after a year

I was using the app really often, and it was easy for me to find whatever I was looking for. Now, after the update (new design) and the "wonderful" your favourite menu, it's terrible. You need to add things to it to use it, which makes it more difficult. The menu with bookmarks was much simpler, easier, and faster to use. The new design is not user-friendly.

I only use this app because lists can be shared with others. Instructions for alarms are too complicated. Lists are too clunky; take ages to open, you can't copy from one to another, you can't delete a list or select list items for bulk deletion. The whole app closes down when you switch to another app, so you have to reopen (see remark about taking ages). Really could do so much better.

What's new
Our new design has made it easier to access your favorite features and devices. The Home page offers quick access to smart home controls, Echo management, and numerous Alexa features. The Devices page offers customizable views to manage your devices.
