Having used this app for some time, I find that it's pretty accurate on the whole. The layout provides a good summary of elements such as temperature, wind speed and precipitation, hour by hour. It's basically tied to one location but others can be selected for comparison and wider-scale mapping is now available. For everyday use, the app is simple and convenient.

I love using this app and having the ability to see the weather conditions in other parts of the world and how the weather will proceed during the course of the day. This is an interesting realisation for me after the BBC 'missed' the great storm of 86, leaving me to believe the weathermen were little more than weather wizards and their prodictions couldn't be relied upon at all!

I have the BBC and the Met Office apps on my phone and mostly they agree but not always. To be honest the Met Office get it right more than the BBC do but then again sometime they're both wrong. BBC app sometimes changes my location to somewhere nearby but otherwise it is very good. Nice icons and easy to use. However if you want to know what the weather is doing with 100% accuracy look out of the window.
