This app is appallingly unusable. It must have been developed by troglodytes, who never tested it, either for usability or bugs. I gave it a one star rating and would have given it a lower one if that had been possible. I was driven around in circles by the login process, which did not work with a yahoo email address. There does not seem to be any coordination between the online website and the app. A piece of unmitigated rubbish.

Thank you for choosing Viator. We’re sorry to hear you are having difficulty with the app. The quickest way to resolve this is to login to Viator.com website, go into Profile and set a password for your account. You should then be able to login to the app without issue.

I booked a tour with options for just the tour, the tour+entry tickets, or tour+tickets+lunch. I booked tour+rickets. Arriving at the destination, we were given the entry tickets where I was shocked to notice that they cost 12€ while I paid 36€ on the app. I thought this was a genuine mistake on their part, but the support team assured me it is supposed to be this way. Some of the listed stops were ignored, and you are forced to go to their restaurant because it is in the middle of nowhere.

Pre booked a trip with the pay later option. When I then pressed the pay now button a week before the trip, it instantly cancelled the booking without any warning. Had to rebook and the price had increased. Had no option but to go with it as we had already planned everything else around these trips.
