About this app

The Oxford Mindfulness app is designed for adults, helping to develop and maintain a mindfulness practice for personal well-being. Through the app you can; access mindfulness via a large range of practices and join live daily mindfulness sessions, complete self-paced introductory courses and access resources including up-to-date information and research from the field.

The app offers content which has been jointly developed by the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation and the University of Oxford, UK and is offered by assessed teachers who have trained to teach research-based mindfulness programmes.
Sponsorship for the app has been offered by The Visual Snow Initiative (VSI), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for individuals affected by Visual Snow Syndrome.

Loving it so far for visual snow the instructor she is so good and relaxing guiding you through meditation. Only issue I have is I can't open. The handbook it crashes the app but could just be me 😔

Maybe slightly biased as I’ve been involved in the development – full disclosure there! However, it has turned out to be an excellent addition to the mindfulness app community. Information, podcasts, blogs etc a library of meditations - all quality assessed. Self-paced courses have been reviewed ensuring levels are suitable for those new to mindfulness and an opportunity to deepen practice for those familiar with mindfulness. Here is a place for quality meditations and trustworthy information
