The OneDrive app lets you view and securely share photos, videos, and files with friends and family. Plus, you can use the app to automatically back up your phone’s photos and videos. Start with 5 GB of free cloud storage space or upgrade to a Microsoft 365 subscription to get up to 1 TB of cloud storage.

• Browse all your OneDrive files and files shared with you.
• Automatically upload photos and videos to your personal OneDrive account using Camera backup.
• Share your files.
• Move, delete, and rename files, and create new folders.
• Open your OneDrive files in other apps, Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
• Quickly get to documents you've recently opened.
• Search for your files and folders.

Notes:
For you to sign in to OneDrive for Business, your organization needs to have a qualifying SharePoint Online or Office 365 business subscription plan. You can't sign in with an account from an on-premises directory.
Camera backup, search, sort, and the ability to add OneDrive for Business accounts are available only on devices running Android 4.0 or later.

Great service but the app has gotten worse over the years. More and more obsessed with shoving photos or recommendations in front of you. EDIT: And now the core functionality has broken entirely. Can't open a single file anymore, getting an error message for every one. Tried clearing data/cache and reinstalling and still have the same problem. Shame as the service itself is good and works fine on Windows.

What have you done to this? After the update 2 days ago, I apparently don't have any files to display. Constantly telling me I'm not connected to the internet, I am. Offering me account upgrades, my 365 family subscription runs out in 2027 - why doesn't it know? However, many times I turn photo backup back on, it tells me it's off and do I want to turn it on. 🤔 How is it possible to ruin so much in one go?

Used to be really good, but recent updates put photos first and not files, it's really slow to load when it does open. But it often crashes when tapping on a notification to open it, and recently is crashes when trying to open it from the app icon. The only way I seem to be able to access the app is to open it from a widget. After years of using it, pretty much since it came out, it's gotten worse and I'm losing my patience with it to the point I'm looking for alternatives.

What's new

You can now display your media files on a Chromecast receiver or TV from a compatible device. Look for a Cast icon showing in the top toolbar. We hope you enjoy this top-requested feature!
