I've had Prime for years, but since 2 weeks ago it's started lagging and opening and closing every time I open the app or put something else on to watch. I've uninstalled then reinstalled the app and even reset my device... it's never done it before and now all of a sudden, it's happening constantly. Either sort this out or at least tell me how to stop this happening... because of this, I can't get support from the app so I'm having to leave this review here.

Updated review: It's still, okay. My previously complaints about the terrible sound quality and terrible implementation of "Play next" have been rectified. There is a playback issue with no image. Sometimes it will play an ad, then the screen will go blank (but audio plays). Or you when watching an episode, the screen blanks when it starts to play an ad, and stays blank when it returns to the programme. To rectify you must then back out of the playback, then resume. (Multiple devices tested.)

Prime WAS my #1 app in the UK. Since moving to the ad supported mode despite being a Prime member I can barely stand it. The ads are infuriating and I'm wondering why I am paying to watch them when paying normally takes you out of the ad cycle. I'm catching up with a show then I'm going to have to leave it unless I'm watching something I have bought, therefore ad free. I refuse to be in a pay per view subscription AND STILL have to suffer ads.
