Nearly 5 years ago, I gave this app a strong 5-star, tire-pumping review. It was great. WAS. Amazing how the recent addition of an ad banner can change everything. This ad banner appears right at the top of my scores page and very often, takes a ridiculous amount of time to load, which causes the scores to load slowly. Take your slow-loading ads and stuff 'em, Yahoo. Uninstalled.

The app is great for sports news and scores. Absolutely love it! The reason for the three star rating is that this app accumulates a ton of storage space on my phone. The last two times I've cleared the data storage on my phone it was over 10GB and 7GB. Not sure why it needs that much space or why it can't delete old data after a timeframe.

Terrible! When you think of the competition from other sport apps I don't know how a company like yahoo could offer something so bad! The stories are often badly edited together with clear code that should be hidden and the stories on the home screen are repetitions of the same stories from different sources. I am going to say it is one of the worst apps I have used full stop.
