I booked a hotel in Split. All seems to be OK. Now I want to book a hotel in the UK, but I can find no way to do this through the app. The look-up icon (magnifying glass) keeps taking me to to my previous booking. And when I then cluck Search, I am presented with a list of other hotels in Split. I've spent ages trying everything, all without success. Now I'm going to try a different search/booking site

The level of information is generally poor. If you search for things like parking or pet friendly, it will filter but if you assume these things you will be mistaken. Parking often means there are paid public parking options nearby - that is true of most places so not particularly informative. Pet friendly, they will say additional charges may apply, but there is often no way to find out what these are in advance. Doing the minimum to aggregate hotel prices.

they have the Monopoly and unsurprisingly the app is rubbish and hasn't improved in many years. I don't want a shed bed in a dormitory. why is it so hard to say that. all preferences seem bizarrely hard to find/sort. loses your previous search history very quickly. No search function when I am looking at facilities in rooms, for instance if I only want rooms with a balcony or don't want a shared dormitory but I'm open to all other types of accommodation.
