My original rating was 5*, changing this to 1. Having played on and off for many months, this game is far too heavily weighted. You could spend an absolute fortune and never progress to the bigger tables. It's fun to play as long as you're happy to lose! Have complained in game and received a standard response. Understand the concept of pay to win but ........ annoying!

Dear Tracy, thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We assure you that the outcome of a match is never "weighted" or manipulated by us and factors such as purchase history are not taken into account by our card distribution algorithm. Dealing is the same for all players and never biased.

This game really annoys me!!! Every single time my opponent throws it a card and then I pick up the exact same type from the pack! The random card generator doesn't seem to work well. The other frustrating thing is with kings. You hold out for as long as possible then as soon as you get rid of one the opponent throws one out. Noooo way were they holding on to it! You also get screwed quickly in the higher value games. They seem to get gin or less than ten in three pickups, it's just not fun.

Dear Pete, we're sorry to hear you've had a run of bad luck though it's important to note, our distribution algorithm ensures random dealing and is never influenced by the participating players. The algorithm also corresponds to normal distribution, meaning while players can get different strength hands, on average, all players are dealt to evenly.

Just dropped it to 1*. I've finally had it with this version of the game, after more than six years of playing. Used to be 5* but, similar to other reviews, I find the gameplay is off. Too many losses due to layoff/undercut, opponent knock/gin only a few turns in. I play other, non-monetised GR games, and also in real life. A lot. But I lose in this app far, far too often, and in ways which don't reflect real world games. I hesitate to say it's rigged. But it looks like it.
