Terrible app. Unreliable. Crashes regularly. At least half the time unable to get app to respond in time to book popular classes/court times. Member over a year, no improvements to the app in that time. I would not recommend it and unfortunately it makes the entire membership a constantly frustrating and unpleasant experience.

Updated review of the David Lloyd app: still has many very frustrating bugs. The app randomly logs me out and I have to put my phone number and password to get back in. Frustrating, if you are trying to catch a booking slot, as you will likely to miss it. The worse bit is when you book a tennis court, the system accepts it, then immediately cancels it for no reason other than someone else has also booked it! How is an IT system able to accept two competing bookings? Very poor.

A big improvement, but a very very annoying bug. In a digital world sometimes you must have the options to either use the physical card or just the phone app. Other times I carry my card, I want to be able to have the choice. This is especially useful when there is no power or no web.
