Campfire is part of Niantic's attempt to push local activities in PokƩmon Go, but it's missing a lot of functionality. Though intended to encourage playing with people nearby, there isn't any distance slider for you to define "nearby". Because of this, I keep getting notifications from flares on the other side of the city, which really undermines the value of the app. Being able to set a distance radius would be a quick fix, but won't solve the problem - it needs user-defined local areas.

I like the design and makeover of the app, but there was a issue I had with team up in a way it took a long time to find people. There's a massive connection issues and once you find a match the host sender invite like normally in PokƩmon Go, but this time I couldn't been able to click on it because it was frozen to me so I restarted my app to see if it works but the raid disappeared

Notification settings don't do what they are supposed to. You get notifications for things you disable and the app fails to send notifications for the things you actually want. It is also fairly buggy in other ways and is one of the worst methods of communication possible. Edit: Many months later, it is still broken in the same ways. Still a terrible app by incompetent devs.
